Something a little more glam-chic.
This black sequin skirt was made from a sequin sweater with a silk lining. The top was cut from an old prom dress. The belt was trimmed to fit my waist, rather than my hips.
The most difficult part of this outfit was the skirt, as I had no elastic available for the top, and had to instead cut a slit for a zipper.

Featured creation:
Lace headband with black bow, black feather, black faux flowers and polka dot scrap. The polka dot scrap is a remnant of a swim suit I had when I was 8.
The dress itself is one that I purchased at a vintage clothing shop, and then altered to fit. I then pulled the front hem upwards and sewed it to the inside of the bodice to create the uneven bell-like shape.
